Atahualpa Yupanqui was an Argentine musician, playing and recording up to 1992. The playing sits in payada and traditional folk music. The birthplace recorded is Pergamino Partido. He died in Nîmes in 1992. His main instruments are guitar and vocals. He was active from 1935.
