Endpin jack
An output socket built into the end pin position at the base of a guitar body, used for amplified acoustic instruments.
The endpin jack combines the strap anchor and the output socket in one fitting, so an acoustic guitar can be plugged in without an extra hole in the body. It is the standard termination for under-saddle piezo systems, connecting the pickup inside the body to a normal instrument cable outside it, and it often accepts a quarter-inch jack with a second contact for a battery switch. Care is needed when tightening it, because over-tightening can crush the tail block.
Example: A plugged-in acoustic guitar with the cable emerging from the bottom of the body is using an endpin jack.
