Orchestra model
A medium-bodied acoustic shape with a wider waist and a tighter lower bout than a dreadnought, originally designed for orchestral and ensemble use.
The proportions give a more even, balanced frequency response than a dreadnought: less bass emphasis and a midrange that sits better against other instruments, which is why it works well for fingerstyle playing and for recording where a big low end becomes a problem. The narrower waist also makes the instrument comfortable to hold for long periods. It is one of the most-recorded acoustic body shapes for exactly those reasons.
Example: a solo fingerstyle arrangement often sounds clearer on an orchestra model than on a dreadnought, whose bass can mask the melody.
