Tune-o-matic bridge
A fixed bridge with individually adjustable saddles, mounted on two posts and usually paired with a separate tailpiece.
The tune-o-matic was designed to make intonation adjustable on every string without moving the whole bridge, and it became the standard fitting on Gibson-style electrics. Each saddle rides on a screw so it can be moved nearer or further from the nut, and the bridge sits on threaded posts that set overall height. It does not bend or vibrato, which is why instruments with this bridge are usually fitted with a stop tailpiece rather than a tremolo.
Example: The metal bar across the body of a Les Paul-style guitar, sitting on two posts with a separate tailpiece behind it, is a tune-o-matic bridge.
