Akoestische gitaar
Akoestische gitaar is the Dutch name for the acoustic guitar: a hollow-bodied, non-electric guitar whose sound comes from the vibration of its strings driving a wooden top. The term covers the classical and flamenco guitars of Spain as well as the steel-strung folk and dreadnought guitars that dominate popular music, and it is used in Dutch to separate these instruments from the elektrische gitaar. This is a language and terminology entry rather than a specific instrument, so no maker, model year or production span applies to it.
