Amos
Amos is catalogued in this atlas as a 1958 Gibson Flying V. The Flying V was one of the modernistic solid-body designs Gibson launched at the end of the 1950s, alongside the Explorer and the Moderne, built from korina and shaped with a sharply angled, arrow-like body. The initial run sold poorly and the model was dropped after a short time, which makes surviving 1958 examples rare and highly collected today. This entry refers to one particular instrument from that first year of production; the register does not record a confirmed owner or its present location, so those details are left unstated.
