Dean V

The Dean V is the Flying V style model in the Dean Guitars line. Where the Gibson original is symmetrical, Dean's version sharpens the angles and lengthens the points, producing a more aggressive arrow-like body, and the instrument is normally fitted with two humbucking pickups, a tune-o-matic style bridge and a set neck. Dean offers the V in both guitars and basses, in a range of woods and finishes, and at prices from budget to custom shop. The shape is a long-standing part of the brand's catalogue and one of the standard heavy metal designs of the last four decades.
