ESP KH-2 Vintage
The ESP KH-2 Vintage is a version of Kirk Hammett's signature guitar finished to look worn, following the fashion for replicas of heavily used instruments. The underlying guitar is the same superstrat design as the standard KH-2, with a pair of active humbucking pickups, a locking vibrato bridge and the skull and crossbone style inlays, but the body and hardware are given a distressed, aged treatment so that a new guitar looks like one that has been toured for years. Hammett plays similarly reliced instruments of his own, and the model is aimed at players who want that appearance.
