ESP Kirk Hammett

ESP's Kirk Hammett models form one of the company's longest-running signature lines. ESP has built instruments for the Metallica guitarist since the 1980s, and the range includes the KH-2 and its revisions, the KH-3 with its graphic finishes, and lower-priced versions carrying the same design at reduced cost. They are superstrats with active humbucking pickups, locking vibrato bridges and distinctive inlays, set up for the heavy rhythm playing and fast lead work of Metallica's catalogue, and the design has been refined repeatedly as new revisions have been issued.
