ESP Skulls & Snakes

Skulls & Snakes is a graphic finish used on ESP guitars, and the name is catalogued here as a model entry because instruments are often identified by that artwork. ESP has long offered heavily decorated guitars, with complex painted designs applied over specially prepared bodies, and the skulls and snakes motif belongs to that tradition of stage instruments built to be seen from the back of a venue. Physically the guitars are standard ESP superstrats or single-cuts with humbucking pickups and locking vibrato bridges; the entry marks the finish rather than a distinct model.
