Fender Bullet

The Fender Bullet is a student electric guitar Fender sold in the early 1980s. It was designed to be made cheaply and sold at a low price to compete with imported instruments, using a simple slab body shape with a slightly Telecaster-like outline, two pickups and basic hardware, and early examples were built in the United States before manufacture was moved to Japan. Fender also offered one version with a sheet-metal body and integrated bridge. Bullets were aimed at beginners, and they are collected today for their place in the company's difficult early 1980s period.
