Gibson CS-336
The Gibson CS-336 is a semi-hollow style electric guitar from Gibson's Custom Shop, introduced in the early 2000s. It is built with a smaller body than the ES-335, carved from a single block of mahogany with a maple top and then hollowed from the inside, an arrangement that produces the resonance of a semi-hollow instrument with the feedback resistance and punch of a solid one. It carries two humbucking pickups and the usual volume and tone controls, and it is aimed at players who want a compact, high-quality instrument in the semi-hollow idiom.
