Gibson ES-137

The Gibson ES-137 is a semi-hollow electric guitar introduced by Gibson in the early 2000s. It is built with a body of moderate depth and a solid centre block, a single cutaway, two humbucking pickups and a control layout of separate volume and tone controls, and it was offered in several trim levels with different tops, inlays and hardware. The instrument was intended to give the semi-hollow sound and the familiar outline of the ES family in a version suited to players who wanted something a little smaller and lighter than the large thinline models.
