Ibanez Fireman
The Ibanez Fireman is a signature electric guitar built for Paul Gilbert, the American guitarist known for his work with Racer X and Mr. Big. The design reverses the Iceman shape he had used for years, turning the asymmetric body around so that the longer section points the other way, and gives it the fittings he requires: a pair of humbucking pickups, a fixed or tremolo bridge, a slim neck and a straightforward control layout. It is offered in several versions at different prices, and it is one of the more distinctive shapes in Ibanez's signature range.
