Ibanez Pro-line

The Ibanez Pro-line is a series of electric guitars the company sold in the 1980s. Instruments in the series used the pointed superstrat and more conventional solid-body shapes the company was producing at the time, with bolted necks, humbucking and single-coil pickup combinations and locking or conventional vibrato bridges, and they were sold under the company's own name at prices above the copies it had built in the previous decade. The Pro Line sits in the development of Ibanez from a maker of copies to a maker of its own designs.
