Manson MB-1

The Manson MB-1 is a custom electric guitar built for Matthew Bellamy, the singer and guitarist of the English rock band Muse, by the Manson Guitar Works in Devon. The instrument takes one of the maker's solid-body shapes and adds the features the player requires: a pair of pickups with the option of a piezoelectric or other auxiliary system, controls including a kill switch to cut the signal abruptly for stuttering effects, and on some examples an integrated electronic unit giving access to synthesised sounds alongside the guitar tone. It is one of the most technically elaborate stage guitars in contemporary rock.
