Peavey Classic 50
The Peavey Classic 50 is the larger member of the company's valve amplifier range, offered as a combo with two twelve-inch speakers or as a head with a separate cabinet, and rated at about fifty watts. It has two channels, clean and overdriven, spring reverb and a tone section of bass, middle and treble, and it shares the tweed-covered appearance of the smaller model in the series. Its greater output and speaker area give more headroom and a bigger low end, which suits louder stages, while the valve preamp and output section provide the warm, compressed break-up the range is known for.
