This entry catalogues the Fender Jimmie Vaughan Stratocaster, the signature model built for the American blues guitarist and a member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds. It follows the Stratocasters he plays, with a soft V-shaped neck profile, a set of hotter single-coil pickups of the Tex-Mex type, a synchronised vibrato bridge with a vintage-style arrangement of saddles and fittings, and simple finishes. The instrument is offered in several versions and is aimed at blues and roots players who want a mid-century Stratocaster with a little more output and a comfortable neck.
