Roland Fantom series
The Roland Fantom series is the company's line of flagship music workstations, produced from around the turn of the century onwards. Instruments in the series combine a large set of sampled and synthesised sounds with a sequencer for recording and arranging, sampling and audio recording functions, colour displays for editing and a range of performance controls, and they are offered with keyboards of sixty-one, seventy-six or eighty-eight notes according to the model. The line has been revised several times, with each generation adding greater processing power and more facilities, and it represents the culmination of the company's workstation designs.
