Roland Jupiter-50
The Roland Jupiter-50 is a synthesizer introduced at the beginning of the 2010s, reviving one of the company's historic names for a modern digital instrument. It generates its sounds from sampled and modelled waveforms, offers a large set of voices with extensive layering and effects, and uses a panel of knobs and sliders with a display so that sounds can be edited directly. It is built around a sixty-one note keyboard and is intended for stage use, bringing the approach of the company's flagship instruments to a lighter and less expensive result.
