Squier Telecaster
The Squier Telecaster is the version of Fender's Telecaster produced under the Squier name, sold in the Far East at a fraction of the price of the American instruments. It carries the essential elements of the design: a slab body, a bolt-on neck, two single-coil pickups with the bridge unit mounted in its metal plate, a three-saddle bridge on the traditional versions and the usual volume, tone and blade switch. Instruments of this kind are widely bought as first guitars and as spares, and they are produced in a large number of versions with different woods, finishes and pickup arrangements.
