Yamaha Hipgig
The Yamaha Hipgig is a compact drum kit designed so that its components nest inside one another for carrying. The drums are built with reduced shell depths and arrange to fit inside the bass drum, and the hardware and cymbals stow with them, so that a complete kit can be moved in a small number of cases, and the kit is fitted with a moulded or padded shell to protect it in transit. Instruments of this kind are made for drummers who play in small venues and travel without a crew, and the design has been produced in several versions.
