Yamaha RGX
The Yamaha RGX is a series of electric guitars the company produced from the middle of the 1980s. Instruments in the range follow the pointed superstrat formula that dominated rock guitar design in that decade, with contoured solid bodies, slim bolt-on or neck-through necks, twenty-four frets on a flat fingerboard, a choice of humbucking and single-coil pickups and either fixed bridges or locking vibrato systems, and they were offered at several price levels including Japanese-made instruments and cheaper versions. The RGX was the company's principal rock guitar range of the period.
