Yamaha YC series

The Yamaha YC series covers the company's organs: the transistor and electronic combo organs of the 1960s and 1970s, and the modern stage keyboards that revive those sounds. The early instruments generate their tones with electronic circuits and offer drawbar-style registration, percussion and vibrato, with built-in speakers on the domestic models; the modern versions reproduce the same voices digitally, in a portable keyboard intended for stage use, with controls laid out to match the originals so that a player can work in the familiar way. Both are used wherever an organ sound is needed.
