Boss Doctor Rhythm DR-110
The Boss Doctor Rhythm DR-110 is a compact drum machine from the early 1980s, part of Boss's Dr. Rhythm line. It offers preset rhythm patterns alongside programmable ones, with sounds generated by analogue synthesis and shaped by simple level and accent controls, and it runs on batteries. It can also be used as a metronome, which made it useful for practice as well as for sketching ideas. Its drum voices have a dry, punchy character that later attracted producers looking for early drum machine flavour, and it is collected for exactly that.
