Boss DC-2
The Boss DC-2 Dimension C is a compact chorus pedal from the mid 1980s that abandoned knobs altogether. It offers four push-button presets and a single mode switch, and its circuit builds its effect from several short modulated delay lines working together rather than one obvious wobble. The result is a spacious, glossy sheen that thickens a clean part without the obvious pitch movement of a conventional chorus, a sound derived from the Roland SDD-320 rack unit. Its preset-only layout makes it divisive, but its tone is much copied, and Boss later returned to the Dimension idea in digital form.
