Epiphone Rivoli
The Epiphone Rivoli is a semi-hollow electric bass introduced by Epiphone in the early 1960s. It pairs a large, thin hollow body with two hollow chambers and a solid centre block, and it carries one or two single-coil or humbucking pickups with a simple control set, giving a warm, rounded, short-decay bass tone rather than the hard, defined sound of a solid-body instrument. It was among the basses used by British groups of the 1960s, and Epiphone has reissued the model as part of its revival of its historic designs.
