Epiphone Sheraton

The Epiphone Sheraton is a thinline semi-hollow electric guitar introduced in the late 1950s. It has the double-cutaway shape of the classic thinline archtop but is decorated more elaborately, with a bound body, a large single pickguard, block inlays and gold hardware on many versions, and the early instruments carried Epiphone's own New York pickups while later ones used mini humbuckers. Epiphone has kept the Sheraton in its catalogue through several later incarnations, and it is valued as an affordable semi-hollow with a warm voice suited to jazz, blues and soul.
