Epiphone Les Paul

The Epiphone Les Paul is the family of single-cutaway solid-body electric guitars that Epiphone builds under licence from Gibson. The shape is one of the most familiar in popular music: a mahogany body with a carved maple cap, a set neck, two humbucking pickups and a control layout of separate volume and tone for each pickup. Epiphone's versions are made in the Far East at prices far below the American originals, and they range from inexpensive student models to elaborate limited editions, making the design available to a very large number of players.
