ESP Jeff Hanneman
The ESP Jeff Hanneman signature guitar was built for the late guitarist of the American thrash metal band Slayer. It follows Hanneman's own ESP instruments, which were single-cutaway designs with a pair of humbucking pickups, a single volume control and a fixed or tremolo bridge, carrying graphic finishes and inlays drawn from his imagery. ESP offered the model in Japanese production and in the lower-priced LTD range under similar model numbers. The guitars are set up for the fast, precise rhythm playing and aggressive lead tone that characterise thrash metal, and they remain sought after following Hanneman's death.
