ESP KH-602
The ESP KH-602 is the version of Kirk Hammett's signature superstrat built within ESP's lower-cost output, sold under the LTD and similar designations at a price well below the Japanese-built KH-2. It carries the same body shape, the skull and crossbone style inlays and the active humbucking pickups, together with a locking vibrato bridge, so that the appearance and playing feel of the signature guitar are available more cheaply. Instruments of this kind form a large part of ESP's business, since artist models at several price points reach far more players than the flagship versions.
