ESP LTD SC-200

The ESP LTD SC-200 is a signature model built for Stephen Carpenter, guitarist of the Californian band Deftones, within ESP's lower-priced LTD range. The SC guitars are single-cutaway designs with a carved, contoured body, two humbucking pickups and a simplified control layout, and the 200s sit at the affordable end of that family, with bolt-on construction and less expensive hardware. ESP has made instruments for Carpenter since the 1990s, first under the ESP name and later across the LTD numbering, and the various SC models differ in specification, scale length and price rather than in basic shape.
