ESP LTD SC-600
The ESP LTD SC-600 is a mid-range version of the Stephen Carpenter signature guitar, the model line ESP builds for the Deftones guitarist. It uses the single-cutaway SC body with a carved top, a set or neck-through construction, two humbucking pickups and a control layout limited to what a heavy player needs. Carpenter's instruments have been produced across a number of model numbers, with the higher numbers generally indicating better hardware, woods and pickups, and the SC range is used with baritone tunings and extended-range strings as well as standard tuning.
