ESP LTD SC-607
The ESP LTD SC-607 is the seven-string version of the Stephen Carpenter signature guitar. It uses the same single-cutaway body as the six-string SC models but with a wider neck and a pickup set arranged for seven strings, which suits the low-tuned, wide-interval riffing of the Deftones repertoire. ESP produces several such extended-range instruments in the LTD range, and Carpenter's models are among the better known seven-strings in that line. As with the rest of the family, the model number marks a specification level rather than a different instrument.
