ESP LTD TA-200

The ESP LTD TA-200 is a bass guitar built within ESP's LTD range as part of the Tom Araya signature line. Araya is the bassist and singer of the American thrash metal band Slayer, and ESP has produced instruments to his specification, based on the company's established bass shapes with a single or split-coil pickup, a straightforward control layout and hardware chosen for hard playing. The TA-200 sits at the affordable end of that family. Basses of this kind are designed for a clear, cutting low end in a loud metal mix rather than for subtle tonal variation.
