ESP LTD VB-400 Baritone

The ESP LTD VB-400 Baritone is a baritone version of the Viper, ESP's double-cutaway, angular electric guitar. Baritone describes the longer scale length rather than a different body: the extra distance between the nut and the bridge lets the guitar be tuned well below standard pitch while keeping the strings at a usable tension, which gives a deep, clear low register for heavy riffs. The VB-400 follows the Viper outline and carries humbucking pickups and a fixed or tremolo bridge, and it is intended for players working in low tunings who need the notes to stay defined under heavy gain.
