ESP M-1 Tiger

The ESP M-1 Tiger is a signature instrument built for George Lynch, taking its name from the tiger-stripe finish of his own guitars. It follows the superstrat pattern of his ESP models, with an aggressively contoured body, a single humbucking pickup in the bridge position, a volume control, and a locking vibrato bridge, finished in the graphic schemes he favoured. Lynch's instruments of the 1980s helped establish the idea of a stage guitar built around one hot bridge pickup and a dramatic paint job, and the Tiger models are among the most recognisable of that group.
