ESP Stephen Carpenter
ESP's Stephen Carpenter instruments form one of the company's long-running signature lines. Carpenter, guitarist of the Californian band Deftones, has used ESP guitars since the 1990s, and the models built for him follow the single-cutaway shape with a carved top, a slim neck, high-output humbucking pickups and a minimal control layout. They have been produced as six-strings, seven-strings and baritones, in Japanese and imported LTD versions under a number of model codes, the higher specifications offering better woods, pickups and hardware.
