ESP Tom Araya
The ESP Tom Araya model is the electric bass guitar ESP builds for the bassist and vocalist of the American thrash metal band Slayer. It is based on the company's established bass shapes, with a solid body, a single split-coil or humbucking pickup in some versions, a straightforward volume and tone control set, and hardware chosen for hard, fast playing rather than subtlety. ESP has produced the instrument in its Japanese range and in the lower-priced LTD line, where the TA model numbers denote different specification levels of the same design.
