Fender Eric Johnson Signature Stratocaster
The Fender Eric Johnson Signature Stratocaster is the model built for the American guitarist, introduced in the mid 2000s. It follows his preferences closely, with a thin, moderately contoured body, a neck with a soft V profile and a special finish, and a set of custom-wound single-coil pickups arranged to give a sweet, slightly hollow tone with good clarity, together with a vibrato bridge set up to his specification. Fender has continued to offer the guitar in several versions, including ones with a rosewood or maple fretboard, and it is a favourite among players who prize clean, articulate single-coil tone.
