Fender Frank Bello Bass
The Fender Frank Bello Bass is the signature model built for the bassist of the American thrash metal band Anthrax. It follows the instruments he uses on stage: a solid body based on the Precision Bass shape, a split-coil pickup at the middle and a single-coil at the bridge, an active preamp giving a wider range of tone control than a passive instrument, and a slim neck with a satin finish for fast playing. It is designed for a hard, cutting bass sound in a loud metal mix, and it sits in Fender's range of artist-endorsed instruments.
