Fender Harvard
The Fender Harvard is a small valve guitar amplifier Fender produced in the 1950s and into the early 1960s. It is a compact single-speaker combo with a simple control layout, one channel and a low-powered valve circuit, positioned above the smallest student amplifiers in the range but well below the larger professional models. Amplifiers of this size distort readily when pushed, and small tweed combos of the period are valued today for the warm, gritty tone they produce at usable recording volumes, as well as for their place in the development of the electric guitar amplifier.
