Fender Pro

The Fender Pro is a valve amplifier Fender produced from the 1940s into the early 1960s in a series of versions. It was one of the company's larger instruments of the period, offered as a single-speaker combo with two channels and, in most versions, a simple tremolo, and it was built in the cabinet styles of successive periods, from the early tweed covering through the wide panel and narrow panel arrangements to the brown and black panel forms that followed. Amplifiers of this kind provided the loud, clean tone on which early electric country and blues bands depended.
