Fender Prodigy

The Fender Prodigy is an electric guitar Fender offered in the early 1990s. It departs from the company's classic outlines with a slim, contoured solid body and a pair of humbucking pickups with a simplified control layout, aimed at rock players who wanted the feel of a modern instrument rather than a traditional Stratocaster or Telecaster. Guitars of this kind were produced in relatively small numbers and for only a few years, and the Prodigy is collected as part of the group of lesser known Fender designs issued in that period.
