Fender Prophecy II Bass
The Fender Prophecy II Bass is an electric bass from a line of instruments Fender sold through its Squier range in the 1990s. Basses in the Prophecy series have compact, contoured bodies and a modern specification, with active electronics offering a wide degree of tone shaping, high-output pickups, and hardware suited to rock and metal rather than to the traditional jazz and session playing the Precision and Jazz were built for. The Prophecy II is one of a group of instruments through which Fender tried to reach players who had turned to specialist basses.
