Fender Roscoe Beck Bass
The Fender Roscoe Beck Bass is a signature instrument built for the American session and touring bassist, noted for his work with Robben Ford and as a teacher of the instrument. It is a five-string bass with a contoured body, a slim neck and a pickup and preamp arrangement developed to give a broad range of clean, articulate sounds, and it was produced by Fender's Custom Shop or in similarly limited form. Playing on a five-string was central to the way Beck used the instrument, and the model is prized for its flexibility and clear tone.
