Fender Stratocaster
The Fender Stratocaster is the electric guitar introduced by Fender in 1954 and one of the most widely used instruments ever made. It has a contoured, double-cutaway body, three single-coil pickups selected by a blade switch, a master volume and two tone controls, and a synchronised tremolo bridge that lets the player bend all the strings together. Its balanced shape, comfortable neck and wide range of clean and overdriven sounds suited it to almost every kind of popular music, and it has been made continuously since, in an enormous number of versions.
