Fender Super
The Fender Super is a valve amplifier Fender produced in the 1940s and 1950s, an early two-channel combo with a modest output and a single speaker in its original form. The name was later carried by the Super Reverb of the 1960s, a much larger instrument with four ten-inch speakers and about forty watts, which became one of the standard amplifiers for blues and soul because of its loud, clean tone and deep reverb. Successive versions followed the general development of Fender's amplifiers through the tweed, brown and black panel periods, in a series of cabinets and circuits.
