Fender Telecaster Bass
The Fender Telecaster Bass is an electric bass Fender introduced in the late 1960s, based on the earliest form of the Precision Bass rather than the contemporary instrument. It has a slab body, a one-piece maple neck without a separate fretboard and a single-coil pickup of the original Precision pattern, and it looks and sounds like the basses Fender made in 1951 rather than the split-coil instruments that had replaced them. Later versions used a humbucking pickup, and the model was produced into the late 1970s before being discontinued.
