Fender Telecaster Deluxe

The Fender Telecaster Deluxe is a Telecaster of the 1970s distinguished by its two large, wide-range humbucking pickups, which replace the bright single coils with a thicker, fuller and darker sound, and by the accompanying changes: a large pickguard cut around the pickups, separate volume and tone controls for each pickup, and a three-position blade switch. It has the same body and bridge as the standard model, though some versions used a different headstock and neck shape, and it was reintroduced in later decades as the sound of the 1970s came back into fashion.
